Teresa Jackson, MD is a board-certified Addiction Medicine Specialist. 
 

Dr. Jackson is an Addiction Medicine physician. She is board certified by the American Board of Preventative Medicine and the American Board of Addiction Medicine.

 

Her philosophy for the treatment of substance use disorders is to “love and support patients with substance use disorders. Punishment and shame do not heal. Patients with substance use disorders deserve compassion.”

Dr. Jackson treats patients with addictions to alcohol and drugs. She states, “every patient has a unique story” and encourages individualized treatment that includes medications and behavioral therapies.

 

Dr. Jackson prescribes medications for the treatment of substance use disorders including Suboxone (buprenorphine) and naltrexone for opioid use disorder and medication assisted treatment for alcohol use disorder.  

 

**Dr. Jackson has moved off Whidbey Island and will no longer be accepting new patients.  She will be closing her practice this summer of 2021.
